About Me
Hello! My name is Clara Urcullu. I’m a Mexican-American animator and storyboard artist in my third year at the School of Visual Art’s BFA Animation Program.
My work focuses on storytelling through interesting compositions, character acting, and textures. I also love to explore and incorporate themes of childhood, nostalgia, and growing up. I draw inspiration from my interests and experiences for personal projects to tell stories that resonate with people and validate their emotions. Film-making is my catharsis, and I hope to bring the same sense of relief I feel when creating to my audience who can relate to my work.
